A glimpse into some of the workshops and excursions in 2025...

In May 2025, we had a workshop at Modefachschule Sigmaringen together with Jutta Erb, dedicated to “blind drawing”.: the students created one-line-drawings without looking to the paper - later we embroidered these designs…

Also in May, we dedicated one of the workshops to the development of embroidered patches. Some of them were later embroidered live on the Munich Fabric Start show in september where Modefachschule Sigmaringen even had an own booth ! Really exciting !

Of course there was also an embroidery machine (SAI by Tajima/Mountek) on the booth

We also had the chance to vivit the Freiburg Theater with students from Modefachschule Sigmaringen in May. It was very impressive to get so many insights into costume design, stage designs and the “behind the scenes”:

Experimental Embroidery is one of our most famous workshops at Modefachschule Sigmaringen, always fully booked and it’s stunning to watch the young designers devlop own ideas without any pressure or any given themes or tasks… See some impressions below:

In October 2025, we made a trip together with students from Modefachschule Sigmaringen to the famous VITRA Design Museum to see the latest exhibition “Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show about the history and cultural influence of fashion shows:

Reflective Materials provided by regine iq trim were the materials we used in the following workshop: Besides the function of this high quality materials, the task was to interpret reflection in an innovative and surprising way:

The last excursion 2025 brought us to the company Fischbach + Miller in Laupheim where we got deep insights into the company history and in their buisness which is all about all kind of hair, wigs and much more:
